Laura Dink, LMFT received her Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University. She went on to receive her Preclinical Psychology Postbaccalaureate Certificate from Northwestern University and her Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from The Family Institute at Northwestern University. Her background in Integrative problem-centered metaframeworks (IPCM) allows for a versatile approach, in which tools from a variety of treatment models are used to personalize treatment for each client. Laura has also received specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as a Clinical Fellow on both the Child, Adolescent, and Family Services and the Mindfulness and Behavior Therapies teams at The Family Institute. After her fellowship, Laura went on to work as a Staff Therapist on both teams. After working at The Family Institute, Laura was a Staff Therapist at Hartman Counseling + Consulting, where she met with individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan prior to opening Dink Family Therapy. Laura Dink is also an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and provides supervision to Marriage and Family Therapists in training.
